Ice Skating - Skating Allowed

As of January 17, 2025  SKATING ALLOWED from 7:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Please adhere to the skating hours.

1. Patrons, please do not take it upon yourself to clear any snow off the pond. Do not use shovels or any other items. Pound Ridge maintenance team will clear off the ice.
2. Do not throw sticks or rocks on the pond. It can hinder the pond freezing over.
3. Lastly, do not skate until Pound Ridge's maintenance team has cleared the ice and the sign indicates that skating is allowed. 

Indication of signs: 

1. RED SIGN (NO SKATING): Not allowed to skate
2. GREEN SIGN (UNSUPERVISED SKATING): Skating allowed at your own risk

The Recreation Department will send out a notification through Community Pass, post on social media and update the website when skating is allowed or not allowed.  Please be safe.
