Pound Ridge Proud Day is for Residents, Business Owners or members of a Community Group.
Target area is the Library to the CT border.
Pride Day Goals
- Increase civic pride and beautification efforts
- Provide fun and meaningful learning and community service opportunities for the residents of Pound Ridge
- Increase collaboration among community groups in Pound Ridge
- Support and promote the business community by drawing people into town.
- Increase community spirit by bringing together residents of all ages for a Town- Wide Block Party.
Pride is centered around three traditional themes:
Beautification Family and group oriented community service projects such as planting and maintaining green spaces, painting and general cleanup of our town.
Education Traditionally community organizations in Pound Ridge set up displays with information about their organizations to encourage participation and membership.
Community A town-wide block party. Enjoy great food prepared by local restaurants and a country barbeque sponsored by Scotts Corners Market, air castle and games, hula-hoop and watermelon eating contests.
We strive to support local businesses.
