Be prepared for winter

Before it snows, listen to your local weather channel, have all your snow removal equipment ready and handy. Make sure you have adequate food and water on hand in case of loss of electricity. Please do not go out during or immediately after a snowstorm unless it is truly necessary. Crews have many hours of hard work to complete their snow clearing operation. The less traffic on the roads makes our work easier.

Please do not throw or plow snow into the road. Throw or plow the snow to the right of your driveway. Throwing or plowing the snow in the road can create a patch of snow and ice and cause a hazardous condition. Besides, it will only be redeposited back into your driveway when the plow comes back through.

Please do not park you car in the roadway. Under Highway Law and Town Code we can have it removed at owners expense.
