PUBLIC NOTICE

TOWN OF POUND RIDGE

COMPLETION OF 2023 TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Chapter 283, Sec. 121, Subdivision 1, of the Westchester County Administrative Code, the undersigned Assessor of the Town of Pound Ridge has completed the tentative assessment roll for the year 2023 and that a copy will be available to be viewed online at www.townofpoundridge.com, and a copy of which is filed with the Town Clerk of Pound Ridge,  as of June 1, 2023. 

 

Notice is hereby given that The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll for the Town of Pound Ridge on the following dates and times: 

(Appointments with the Assessor need to be scheduled in advance. Please call the office at 914-764-3980 to schedule an appointment.)

Thursday, June 1, 1pm-4pm; Friday, June 9, 1pm-4pm; Thursday, June 15, 3pm-7pm; and Saturday, June 17,  10am-2pm.

 

Notice is also given that the Board of Assessment Review will meet on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 4pm-8pm, for the purpose of reviewing any assessment at the request of any interested person at 179 Westchester Ave, Pound Ridge, NY 10576, Courtroom.

 

In the event any taxpayer desires a review of his valuation, it will be necessary to file an application for an assessment review with the Assessor or the Board of Assessment Review on a form prescribed by the State Office of Real Property Services (RP-524), on or before Grievance Day, Tuesday, June 20, 2023, 8pm.  Applications are available at the Assessor’s Office and the townofpoundridge.com website and a publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available online at:
