Planning Board

The Town of Pound Ridge has a history of requiring development that is environmentally sensitive & responsive to the long term interest of its citizens.

Mission:  As a steward of the many environmental resources of the community, the Pound Ridge Planning Board works closely with all applicants for Site Plan Approval in order that mutually beneficial development can be assured.

Commercial, Residential & Subdivision/Lot Line Change Applications can be found on the "Forms, Permits & Applications" link on the Town's Home Page.

The Planning Board typically meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 7pm.  

Check the Monthly Calendar to confirm deadline & meeting dates as well as to confirm the time & format (in-person, Zoom, hybrid).

Applications are to be delivered to the Planning Board Administrator at the Town House by 1pm, 2 weeks prior to the meeting.

PDFs of the Application are to be submitted via email to the Planning Board Administrator at cdur@townofpoundridge.com. 

Once submitted, the Administrator will notify neighbors within 500' (1,000' for subdivisions) of the property & confirm taxes are paid to date for the property.
