The Town Clerk's office is required by State law to collect information regarding the location and presence of any wild animals that are harbored. The law states that each person owning, possessing, or harboring a wild animal as set forth must report its presence to the Town Clerk's office on or before April 1 of each year. Information required includes the name, address and emergency contact number for every person or business where wild animals are harbored. Copies of this law are available in the Town Clerk's office.
